Brief History

The Gymnastics Club was founded in 1970s, originally training in a small school classroom until they moved into a newly built school gym a couple of years later, this is where they stayed for the next six years until Col and Mary hired a factory which they equipped with club apparatus and their own sprung floor, at this time the club started to get involved in competitive Gymnastics, nominating several girls to compete for the now defunct Victorian Rural Squad,  several of the girls achieved really well at this level of competition and the base for a Club Squad was formed -- these girls going on to win the Victorian State Level 7 Championships in 1998 -- literally thousands of young girls have at least dabbled in the

Year 2000 Programs

Recreational Gymnastics -- a program designed for all age groups to learn the skills in a 'fun' atmosphere, without the pressure of higher level competition. -- normally 1.5 hours  to 3 hours per week.
VGA Levels Program -- a program designed to follow the VGA levels accreditation whilst competing at low profile Gymnastic competitions. -- 4hrs to 8 hrs per week
Gymnastic Squad Program -- A program to prepare the children for higher level competition - leading to Victorian Championships --  6hrs plus per week
