Kentucky Swaps is one of the best horses we've ever bred or raced. Always being sweetly competitive she quickly graduated from being "just another racer" to "champion." While on the track she ran on nearly any distance or ground and ran them well. She was undeafeated her first six times out as a two year old finishing off the season with 2 HOTY (juvenile and overall) awards and even winning the Moonsine Hollow Triple Crown Juvenile division. While her three year old season started out a bit weak due to a stone bruise, she quickly rebounded to win 6 races in a row. another divisional triple crown victory (Distance) and two more HOTY awards (three year old and overall) During her brief four year old season she was undeafeated and retired soundly to some well deserve rest and to be bred. During her intense racing career she never showed a hint of unsoundness (except for the stone bruise, which she recieved after escaping from her paddock and galloping back and forth on the gravel driveway racing the yearlings on the other side of the fence) or showed a hint of exertion (yeah she escaped after her morning gallop) Overall she has nearly a 70% win average, which is rarely seen in a SIM racer. She is now enjoying her role as mother and "boss" of the younger broodmares. Her first foal, MH Kentucky Storm recently won HOTY in the three year old male division and her second foal, MH Kentucky Smoke won HOTY as well in the juvenile filly division. Kentucky Swaps herself won RHOTY honors in the Broodmare division. We are hoping that with a few more foals on the ground next year she can get HOTY. We are also happy to report her full sister, Moonshine's Five Star Bargain is continuing to race into her five year old season and winning jump races!
