Many people have asked the question, so this is a good place as any to set the record straight.  The Magnificent 7 was born out of a close-knit group of lads who left Saints in 1995.  These seven top blokes are:

Ravi Sathananthan (Sultan/Suavi/Fiesti/Flavour)
Matthew Walsh (Bugsy/The Bug)
Guy Williamson (Wilbur)
Jonathan Harms (Priestly/Hansie/Plugga/Boss)
Jonathan Fraser (Lazer/Smoker/The Doc/Poof)
Sam Lawson (Punjab/Batman), and
Sean Douglas (Dougy)

The Last Stand was devised as an excuse to:

1) Go overseas
2) Get pissed 24-7 for five weeks
3) Generally cut loose, but most importantly
4) Have one, final, all-out extravaganza before the inevitable "split" resulting from the separate future paths defined by our careers and personal lives.

The seven has been whittled down to the four members prominently featured on this site.  Lazer will not be joining us since he is a stuck-up med-geek/rampant homo who did the OS thing at the end of 2001/start of 2002.  Punjab will also be absent from The Last Stand.  Popular opinion explains that this is probably due to the fact that he is Victorian.  The four will be extended to five when we hook up with Dougy in Italy.

A final note: Four will go over, three will come back.  Bugsy will be extending his international exploits for a period of up to one year.

"It's Getting Hot In Here (So Take Off All Your Clothes)" by Nelly has been declared the official anthem of the Magnificent 7's Last Stand.
"See you in hell Jonny!" (as said by Patrick Swayze in the movie Point Break) is the unofficial catch-cry of this tour.
Finally, as you may have noticed (see navigation links throughout the website) we have casually adopted the theme of Top Gun for the holiday.

Thanks for tuning in.  We really appreciate the effort you've put into signing our Guestbook (pity about it cutting many of your messages short)... keep up the good work!

Finally some photos of the trip!  (Many apologies for the extreme delays in this vital addition to the site)  Cick here.
It seems that not only does the Magnificent 7 have a loyal fan base, but it has a whole line-up of wanna-be's!  The award for the most prominent of these imitators must then go to Dharshan Sathananthan, not just for his familiar flamboyance and striking resemblance to a key member of the Magnificent 7, but more so for a carbon-copy display of arrogance that typifies the Suavi.
