I grew up singing soul, gospel, jazz and blues, pop, rock , even commercials. What ever was in my head at the time. I listen to many genres of music.

Neo soul vocalist not always in the best of health....some voice play.

I have a passion for music,  producing and mix engineering, but for me it is just a hobby.

I started singing at the age of 10 around the house. I also began mimicking commercials from the TV and cartoons. A natural at impersonations, I could sound like many different people.

 I wrote poems and songs in school, and had a few published along the way. I have also been published on lovestories.com.

Family & friends started calling me Magic - Moe (Maurice). I never liked the Moe part lol. I am not a magician. LOL To prevent people from thinking I do magic tricks I added the 'q' to Magiq.

I used to mix on 4 and 8 track recorders (Tascam) about 20 years ago. I have loved ballads all my life. Stevie W and many 70's groups like Jeffery Osborn , Luther, Peabo, many, many others.  I used to practice singing to their songs over and over until I learned the vocals.
