| Home News - In an unprecedented show of dissent, CM Kev critisised Darth Bob's controvertial devolution plans publically in an interview with What News? last night. He claimed plans to split SOCO, the secret police force, into three separate organisations were 'madness' and that 'no good would come of them'. It is believed that this is the first time a member of the Shotgun Council has been openly critical of the Darth. Sources close to the leader said he was 'calm but furious' over his trusted lieutenents comments. |
Allegations that the Darth 'went mental' has neither been confirmed nor denied. A spokesman has privately claimed that, following Grappagate (see previous issue) there has been a feeling that CM Kev has become too powerful and must be reigned in. A date for CM Kev's trial has yet to be set but it is believed detailed plans will be revealed at this point. Other sources has suggested that 'Darth Bob has offered to forgive CM Kev, but an incident like Grappagate (In which Kev disobeyed a direct order fromthe Darth and then threatened him physically) must not be allowed to happen again. |

| Rumours of a SOCO instigated poisen gas attack against some of the Shotgun Council have never been confirmed | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| The Shotgun Council is believed to back its leader, but rumours persist of a single dissenting voice amougst them. Reports last night of an angry phone call between the Darth and CM Kev, in which the suspended member threatened split the Council in two were strenously denied by both sides last night. |
CM Kev's voting rights were removed after his unprovoked attack on Darth Bob, following his suspension. If CM Kev continues to oppose what many see as necessary reform, then his position in the Republic could be seriously undermined. The trial continues. |
