nfusing Oil with herbs, flowers or fruit rinds has long been a practice in cookery, and was also a good way to create a handy remedy for simple ills & injuries.
As Perfumes, oils are far better than their alcohol-based counterparts because the scent lasts much longer, and the oil itself has, of course, moisturizing qualities. The scent of the perfume is also truer since oil will not mar the intended fragrance the way alcohol can.
My perfumes are made with an Almond oil base. Almond oil is high quality, and is one of the preferred oils used by massage therapists for its softness and ease of absorption by the skin ~ without clogging the pores. Essential oils are added into an Almond oil base to create the Perfume oils. (Essential oils are the concentrated source of the scent in plants, and are usually made by steam distilling the necessary plant parts to extract the oil. Essential oils undiluted are generally too strong to apply directly to the skin.)
All of my Perfume oils come in 1/2 fluid oz., Cobalt blue glass bottles. The fragrances are custom blended and labeled based on your particular needs.
