Alan & Jeannie' Adventure in Japan.....................................AnJ34

This series of pictures are from Nara.  This was a one time capital of Japan, and many of the temples date back to the 700's.  We have been in Japan about 3 months, and it was great to see some open spaces.

It was cold and rainy the day we visited, but it was beautiful just the same.
Alan and I both took a ton of pictures, and I am putting a lot of them here to share, so bear with me!....If you come to visit, this is a definite must see!!

This is the big temple, Todai-Ji.  It is the largest wooden temple in Japan.  It also has one of the largest bronze buddhas inside.

Amazing!!
