Liz Carlyle
Liz Carlyle admits, the awful truth about novelists is: they are mostly dull, introverted homebodies who only write in order to live thier fantasies vicariously. She came to writing rather late in life, and is still amazed she can get paid for doing something she loves, and that she gets to stay home while she does it.
Her favorite comedian Steve Martin once said, "I believe entertainment can aspire to be art, and can become art. But if you set out to make art, you're an idiot." She has never tried to create art, but does try to tell one heck of a good story. Yes, she tries to write with a hot iron, while the heat of the story is in her. And she always tries to entertain her readers. (We think you've done that very well, Liz!)
If you'd like to hear about what she calls her "dull but wonderful personal life", or hear the strange tale of how she became a workaholic novelist just a few short years ago, click on her link and prepare to be faintly amused.
