| The lovely and talented Emma Caulfield was born in California, San Diego on the 8th of April 1973. When Emma was just a teenager she started studying acting, her great passion was the theatre, and it still is today. Even though Emma is young she has had remarkable roles in tv shows and soap-operas including 'General Hospital'. Emma has been given guest spots on series's like 'Weird Science' and 'Renegade'...and then a great opportunity in the world of showbiz arrived as she was offered the part of 'Susan Keats' on the well known American tv show 'Beverly Hills 90210' as a recurring character. Emma has even appeared on the show 'Saved By The Bell' as 'Nurse Penny Brady'. This was one role that Emma has pleasure doing, as she saw it as a great proffesional experience, and it was the first show she had ever filmed in front of a live audience. Emma loved it. The show and character which has made Emma recognisable world-wide is 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and her well known famous character ex-demon 'Anya Emerson'. The show made it's debut in 1997 and Emma wa cast for the role of 'Anya' early 1998, season 3. Emma originally thought that she would only be in 2 episodes...but 3 seasons on, she is 'ever still tge demon Anya'. Fan's loved Emma's character and soon Emma was cast as a main character. As much as she is a huge hit, and an amazing young woman and actress, Emma doesn't plan to remain in showbiz. She hasn't based her whole life in acting. Emma has a degree in Psychology, and once she has had enough of Hollywood, she may travel further into Psychology...her fans will miss her, but as long as Emma is happy...her fans will be ok. |
