picture above - human energy points (Chakras) - 7th Chakra, big orange ball on top of the head.  6th Chakra is in the mind.  5th Chakra on the throat.  4th Chakra on the heart.  3rd Chakra, an inch above the naval.  2rd Chakra about 2 inches below the naval.  First Chakra at the bottom of the spine.   Chakra energy is felt like a ball of energy, at both the front and back of the body.  The energy comes from little holes in the spine.

How to meditate?

1.  Breathing:
Breathing is the key for Meditation.  The Yoga breath consists of taking a deep breath, and concentrate on the flow of air.  The air should fill the diaphragm first, then the lungs, and then all the way to the nose.  You should be able to feel the air in the nostrils. 

The breathing should be done is a non-pause fashion.  Meaning, there should not be any pauses in inhale or exhale.  Once the flow is achieved, then concentrate on each Chakra area, and fill the air in that area and hold it.  This increases energy in that particular Chakra.  Please view the picture above to identify each Chakra.  This will require some practice, but once it is achieved, enlightenment is gained.  You will have visions, thoughts coming in at this point.  But rather than think about these thoughts, the person should move on without thinking.  Thinking disrupts the meditation process.  Remember the thought to think about at a later Time.

Practising of this exercise gets relaxation, and peace of mind.

2.  Creation of Energy:
The next goal after this state is to achieve creation of energy.  The energy can be created by stretching the body.  Concentrate on various parts of the body, and stretch.  The stretching is done from the head to toes, and hold each portion for a few seconds.  After the body is completely stretched, focus on the energy that is created.  Nerves in the body should release energy.  The energy can then be directed to each Chakra area.  Once the student can achieve this, recovery from nerve damage can be achieved.  Remember that once the energy hits areas of the body that haven't had energy for a while, emotional turmoil can occur.  But we have to deal with the past, before we can do well in the future.  This is the fastest healing process!

Remember to let loose of your body, in order to feel the energy. 

3.  Moving blood:

Once a person can feel own blood flowing into the body, the blood can be directed also into various Chakras area.  This blood is called prana, which is a free form of energy.  This energy can be of any kind, meaning can be utilized in any Chakra.  To start, feel the blood flowing into your body.  See at which points it is flowing.  Now, concentrate on all blood flowing into the heart Chakra (4th).  Then move the energy into the 6th Chakra(mind), and then back down into the 1st Chakra. 

Once the energy has hit all the Chakras, relax and see the energy.  Let this beautiful rainbow colored energy move freely from the head to the toes.

If the student has done this exercise properly, an anormous amount of joy should be felt since all the Chakras have been touched!  This joy is permanent, and will make the person feel great into every day life.  When all the Chakras are touched, eternal peace is found.

Physical exercise can be done to create energy in the first and second Chakra area.  Creativity creates energy in the third Chakra area.  Love creates energy in the 4th Chakra area (heart).  Spirituality creates energy in the 5th Chakra area (Clairvoyant).  Too much thinking creates energy in the sixth Chakra area, so if you are thinking too much about something, move the energy down into the lower Chakras.  Happiness comes when all the Chakras are balanced!  We can achieve this state through meditation.  Then the results are not temporary, but permanent.
