Why I love PORTLAND OREGON:
1-not-so-hot summers. I hate when it's hot. Drives me wild. If it hits 100 here it's a heat wave.
2-Trees- yes, you know those big brown and green things. They are beautiful : )
3-MT HOOD. It's gorgeous!!! If you drive up Burnside near Gresham, just before K-Mart, on that ridge, and it's a sunny day-- Oh MAN- proof there is a God.
4-The Perfect weather we are having now.
5-The diversity of Oregon. I live in Portland and in 1 and a half to 2 hours I can be at the beach. In an hour I can be at Timberline Lodge (snow all year round). I can be in the desert in a few hours, and Seattle in 3 and a half!!
6-Friendly people
7-Downtown is gorgeous
8-Multnomah Falls
9-Rain. When you're not worried about how you look, or what you're wearing, it's so fun to run around in.
10-I've been the other parts of the country- and nothing compares to Oregon.
hmmm.. oh... 11- And the joy of being able to correct people when they say "Ory-gone."
