In June of 1999 I visited my familiar stomping grounds of the White Mountains in New Hampshire to do some camping, hiking, and general scenic viewing. I spent most of the time in the Franconia Notch area, including hiking the 8+ mile Franconia Ridge trail which takes you to the top of the world and back.
