Coral
lives in the beautiful Cotswolds and it was a lovely drive from
Northampton - but of course we got lost again!! Well, we didn't actually
get 'lost' but the road signs seemed to be pointing to places we didn't want to
go through, so before we got too far off the beaten track - as we thought we
would - we turned around. But that way didn't seem right either, so we
stopped and asked a workman on the side of the road, and it turned out we had
been heading in the right direction originally after all!!!
We finally found Coral's lovely little village, but couldn't find our way into
her street - the end we had on the map I'd got from the internet was closed off
and we couldn't find how to get into it any other way. And the little
roads were so narrow and quaint it was hard to turn around when we made wrong
turns..... which we inevitably did!!!!

After driving round a bit we stopped and I asked a lady who was out on the
street for directions and in no time at all we were
pulling up outside Coral's house.....

It
was wonderful to finally meet in person after being email friends for about 7 or
8 years. After unpacking my luggage and having a cuppa &
chat on the veranda overlooking the beautiful back garden, we went off to
the local pub where Tina and Bill would be staying that night for them to
check in and leave their luggage.....
And then Coral was our tour guide for the rest of the day - no more getting
lost!!!!
First
we went to see a local Stone Circle - The Rollright Stones - Tina has the
history and a number of pics here
and here are a few of mine..

This
fabulous topiary horse and rider was outside Wyatt's Farm Shop
