Serotonin
Serotonin is a natural chemical within the brain.   Serotonin, or 5 hydroxytryptamine (5HT) is derived from willow trees and is even in our own bodies.

  Serotonin in the body,
     90% in gastrointestinal tract
      8% in platelets
2% in the brain (pineal gland and hypothalamus)

How can we make serotonin?  Well it is sythesised in neurons and enterochrymaffin cells by hydroxylation and decarboxylation.  Those are fancy words for this---
Serotonin is made by hydroxylizing and decarboxylizing tryptophen, another natural chemical
