September - November 2005
Contents
Student descriptions of their favourite places and an
ordinary schoolday in their lives.
Goals:
1.to
write an essay about one's favourite place
We all have favourite places where to relax and enjoy the
nature. In this activity we want you to share your favourite place with us.
For instance, your favourite place could be a near-by forest, a big stone or
tree, your summer place etc. This place could be situated either in your
home region or somewhere in your country. Because we will have an another
activity about favourite buildings, in this activity we concentrate on
nature.
What to do and how?
Discuss about the favourite places of
students. If it’s difficult to find a favourite place, you could try to
recall best memories in your life and where they have happened.
Write an essay about your favourite place.
Here are some questions to help you:
-
What is it?
-
Where is it located? Is it near of far from
your home?
-
How and when did you find it?
-
What things make it as your favourite
place?
-
How often do you visit this place? How much
time do you spend there?
-
Do
you enjoy this place
alone or together with other people?
In addition to descriptions, please write also about your
feelings.
3. Add a photo or drawing about your favourite place. Your
essay and picture should fit to one page. At first write your essay to ENO
Learning Diary.
