Here is a potent spell for justice; I've given to you in a "bare bones" format as the best way (in my experience) is to develop your own individual style until it suits you.

Generally, the Goddess Kali is, the Divine Mother, the symbol for the infinite diversity of experience. She is multi-faceted Great Goddess responsible for all of life from conception to death. Kali is worshipped as a nurturing Mother, a source of sexual power, a spiritual guide, a fierce warrior, a defender, an avenger and the Goddess of all death, natural and otherwise. In her many forms her she is lovable and terrible: you can learn much from her but you must also be wary of her, for the intoxicating nature of her power can be overwhelming. Among her oldest devoutees in the Indian sub-continent are to be found both the wise and the foolish, the profound and the deranged.

Kali Mahamaya is a powerful, Dark incarnation of the Kali who can be called upon for working spells and magick. Invoking her as avenger and defender addresses your need to re-dress any wrong done against you, such as having something stolen from you - but can be applied to other cases where you are the victim of another's actions/oppressions/injustices.

Invoking Kali summons great power to your cause, but it must be used discerningly. In calling upon Kali Mahamaya to your cause you must be ready to meet Her half way by offering something in return. In asking Her to right a wrong, you also need to focus on what you can learn from the incident to improve yourself. Similarly, in experiencing Kali Mahamaya you will need to focus as much upon what you can put into the "meeting" as what you are asking of Her.

If you touch Kali Mahamaya, you may well find yourself attracted to her power which can be good, but which is also something you must be careful with. The Kali power is very much about self-development and reaching out with your will.

I offer you this spell: it can have a powerful effect on those who have wronged you, and it will have an equally powerful effect on you. What you make of that is up to you.

To perform this ritual cleanse yourself and set-up a circle with four candles at the four points of the compass (black or dark blue at North and South, Red or Orange at East and West). Have ready a bowl to use as a caldron. Upon a piece of parchment invest an image of those who have wronged you (you don't need to know their names, simply inscribe with black charcoal on the parchment "you that wronged me" along with the wrong that they did and the justice you seek to set the matter right)

On a New Moon night perform the ritual. Repeat as many of the parts of the ritual as a chant as often as you wish, chanting and meditating on the power increases the potency.

I have a Kali figure from India which I use as a focus point in doing Kali rituals, you may wish to obtain one or use a reasonable representation (a mounted photograph for instance). I place it within the circle at the North end. You may have equally valid reasons for choosing another direction.

Light the candles chanting each time:

"Kali Mahamaya, Great Mother, Terrible Mother, Dark Mother, defend me, avenge me of a wrong."

Draw the circle with your outstretched arms over the four candles.

Chant:

"Kali Mahamaya, Great Mother, Terrible Mother, Dark Mother I (your name [craft or real, as you prefer]) rise before thee, Dark Mother, I call to thee in the night Dance they eternal dance for me, Sing thy eternal song for me.

All that I am I am here. What I am inside I put oustide, Let there be no barrier, no veil between us All that I am, I open to you.

Hear now, Mother Kali Mahamaya, the terrible wrong done me:

(Succinctly describe the wrong that was done)

Oh Dark and Terrible Mother, I seek thy aid as avenger,

Oh Dark and Powerful Mother, Reign down they terrible fire on mine oppressor,

Give them no rest, Afford them no comfort, Dance thy eternal dance upon their hearts, Show their deeds to all, that all may see what is inside on the outside, And let the weight of their affliction crush them into the dust.

Oh Great and Powerful Mother, Pierce them with your tongue of fire, As I make a fire of their deeds,

{Light the parchment from one of the candles and cast it into the caldron].

Burn, burn with what you have done. X 3

Kali Mahamaya Oh Dark and Terrible Mother Dance thy eternal dance
Breathe thy eternal breath of fire

And let my vengeance be done!

So mote it be!"
