movie theater. Remember Saturday matinees with
cartoons and double features, all for a quarter?
Sometimes we'd stay for the second show to see
the same movie again. And then, if we were lucky,
hamburgers at Woolworth's after the show. |
When we
were small, our parents took us to the drive-in
in our pajamas, and we'd love to watch the movie from the roof of the car. And later, in our teens, we'd pile more
kids than the law allowed in someone's car for
the "Dollar A Carload" nights! |
