| Forget Peter Gotti, the bosses job is Little Nick Corozzo's if he wants it. He was released from prsion this summer. The consigliere is Nick's brother JoJo Corozzo. JoJo, along with Cirillo and Dentico from the Genovese family, are probably the only gangsters holding top 3 positions in the five families who havent been touched by the feds for at the last 5 years. Who is underboss of the Gambinos is difficult to call. Anthony Megale may have been underboss, but he was arrested late last year for extortion in Connecticut. Arnold 'Zeke' Squitieri is also in contention for underboss position, but his parole is very strict - he can't leave New Jersey. A few other guys I think I should mention: Joe Arcuri: this guy is very old and into his early 90s by now, he's the oldest wiseguy in New York and as you can imagine he gets a lot of respect for it. Stephen Grammauta: this is another old guy in his late 80s who the FBI named as underboss in 2001. One final guy who deserves a mention is Jackie 'Nose' D'Amico. I remember Gangland running a column about him and recent Gambino rat Miley DiLeonardo in 1999/2000 when they both got released from prison. Since then Scars has become a rat but Jackie's name has hardly been mentioned, which is bad news for the feds.
