| The First Ten Years (give or take a couple) Thanksgiving, 1966 - My Mom and Dad meet for the very first time. July, 11th, 1968 - My parents' wedding! July 17th, 1968 - Rumour has it I was conceived that day ;). April 7th, 1969 - I was born ten days early at 2:30 PM Central Time at Passavant Memorial Hospital (now known as Northwestern Memorial Hospital), Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. May 18th, 1969 - My Christening Day :D. December 25th, 1969 - My First Christmas! Santa has the pleasure of leaving me lots o' pressies :)). April 7th, 1970 - My First Birthday!!! Most likely I got lots o' pressies that day, too :D. November, 1973 - My aunt gives birth to a baby boy (a brother for my cousin JoAnna). I beg my Mom for a baby brother. June 6th, 1974 - I get my wish, my brother Troy is born at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. June 7th, 1974 - Started to rethink my wish :P September, 1974 - I start Kindergarten!!!! Now I can put 'Student' on my resume :D. June, 1975 - Hurray!!! I get to skip the first grade, going directly to the second grade in September! July 4th, 1976 - America's Bicentennial! Happy 200th Birthday!!! April, 1978 - Very active month, got my ears pierced (finally! grrr @ my Mom for not letting me before :P). We go on family vacation to Florida, visited Disney World, alligator farm, etc. Christmas, 1978 - I begin to have doubts about Santa Claus, notices that he uses the same wrapping paper and has the same handwriting as my Mom :O:((. March 17th, 1979 - Because I am slowly going fricken blind, I get my first pair of glasses....an extra pair of eyes, oh the humanity :((!!!! April 7th, 1979 - WOOHOO!!! Ten years on the planet! I celebrate with the standard cake-and-icecream hootenanny...my childhood is quickly becoming a memory :((. Christmas, 1979 - Standard Christmas, get tons of pressies from Mom and Dad, er Santa Claus, got a Star Trek the Movie T-shirt, don't know why, I wasn't a huge fan and it had this weird bald woman on it....confusing.... New Year's Eve, 1979/New Year's Day, 1980 - YAY another decade is thrust upon us! |
