| After working on Friday (4/18/03) and Saturday, we only worked a little on Sunday because of Easter, and not at all on Monday because we went up to Wolfeboro, NH. I swam in the lake when there was still ice on it, but that's another story... Anyway, Tuesday rolls around and we decide the, uh, bumper, needed to be lighter. So, we drilled lots of holes in it. Who wouldn't, right? This is the end result: | ||||||||||||||
| Ahhhh, nice and light. And still smiling... | ||||||||||||||
| While one of us was drilling, the other was pop-riveting aluminum brackets that my dad made to the car. I had never done this before, but I learned, and didn't do too bad. On the left is one of the brackets rivet on to the car. On the right is the little plastic thing that connects the bumper to the car. | ||||||||||||||
