| Ok, we're almost done. We had to trim a little off the bumper, and then we attached the wood bumper to the plastic bumper. There's just time for a little photo shoot. | |||||||||||||
| It was raining pretty good by this point, but we forged ahead and, after a little trouble getting some screws in, the bumper was on!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As an added safety measure, we put some pretty big lag bolts through the back of the trunk and into the wooden bumper. And then, we were truely finished! | |||||||||||||
| Yep. Those spots on the picture are from the rain. It was tough work, dealing with the weather and all. But we did it! I want to take this time to sincerely thank my dad for the huge amount of time, and yes, a little money, he spent on this project with me. If it wasn't for him, I probably would have tried to glue the bumper back on, or something equally as stupid. But we did it right, and hopefully it'll last a while. Thanks again Dad! | |||||||||||||
