| The realization that when people ask me about myself, I would tell them I am Phyllis' daugher or I am Lee's wife or I am a grandmother or I have seven children, became very clear during a particularly hard time in my life when I wanted to distance myself from everyone dear to me. Once I did that, I simply searched for new people to be close to and found it very unsatisfying. My true "self" is "me and all those I love." So who is Sandi Granderry, as a person, separate from "self"? She is a child of God, an actress, writer, poet and crafter. She does journaling and scrapbooking, genealogy and volunteer work. She loves the Gospel of Jesus Christ and understand the Plan of Salvation. She is not afraid to be alone and loves to have friends and family around her. |
