| NEWS 4/23/02 Final two shows: *Thursday 4/25 "Battle of the Bands" Championship at the LIZARD'S LOUNGE vs. None Taken, Bitchammer, Motion Picture Soundtrack 9pm. SHARP!!!!!!!!! Winner takes home big cash prize and a party in their honor at the Lizard's Lounge. *Saturday 4/27 "ISU SQUID STOCK" @ ISU FOOTBALL STADIUM PARKING LOT W/ THE CELLS and many other bands Show time is sometime in the mid to late afternoon The Ride is Over. As of the evening of 4/27, Madstone Transfer is no more. Is there a big story or reason for this? No, not really and there are no hard feelings among us. We are still and will always be great friends. It was just time to let it end. It was great fun and an excellent experience. In this band's year and a half life we have been privilaged to share the stage with bands we admire such as the Cells and Starball. We have also made many new friends along the way. We want to thank everyone that supported us and took the time to come to our shows. We thank the Lizard's Lounge for always giving us a place to play and practice when times were rough.
