Welcome to our home away from home, on the quiet side of Mount Desert Island
Our  house is on a country road in Tremont, on the "quiet side" of Mount Desert Island.  We are 200 feet from the ocean - with partial views through trees of Duck Cove from the decks and from inside the house.  The house has three bedrooms (queen, double, and bunk), and one bathroom. This is our personal vacation home, so it is furnished to a high standard, with a fully-equipped kitchen.

We  are close to Acadia National Park, with access to hiking and cycling trails, and lakes for canoeing and kayaking.  The scenery is spectacular. There are plenty of great restaurants in nearby  Southwest Harbor and in the larger town of Bar       Harbor (30 minutes away).

We inherited the name of the house from the previous owner.  When locals speak of returning to their home on Mount Desert Island, they say they are going "over home".  It fits.

Rates for Weekly Rental
May $800, June $1000, July $1200, August $1200, September $1000, October $800

Linens and towels are provided.  Rental rates include cleaning and utilities.  Rental is from Saturday to Saturday.  We allow dogs, subject to prior approval.
