Halloween: The TV version Nitpickers Guide

Plot Oversights

  1. Since the film is the same as the original, minus the cut scenes my other nitpicks for the theatrical release apply to this film.

  2. Several of the characters in the cut scenes look noticeably older.  These scenes were shot during the filming of Halloween II.  P.J. Soles, Jamie Lee Curtis, Nancy Loomis, and Donald Pleasence appear a bit heavier and do look several years older.

Continuity and Other

  1. When you see inside the Strode house you notice two windows on the far wall.  However, when Laurie leaves her house to meet up with Annie at the corner you see two garage doors where the windows should look out onto.  It would be impossible to have those windows where a garage should be!.

  2. There is a front window, next to the door in the Strode house that isn't there when Annie leaves to meet up with Annie.

  3. The producers of the DVD forgot to put the scene that reads "May 1st 1964" prior to Loomis's meeting with the doctors.

  4. Again you can tell a major difference in Loomis's age when he goes from the meeting with the doctors to walking out of Smith Grove with Dr. Wynn.

  5. Jamie Lee Curtis wore a wig in Halloween II in order to make her hair look like it did in 1978.  In the TV scene, Jamie wears a towel around her head, that was a clever way to hide what we already know.

  6. P.J. Soles wears a belt when she is walking home with Annie and Laurie.  In the TV scene, her belt is gone.  I know she went home and could have removed it but this is a nitpickers guide.
