HalloweeN: The Night He Came Home TV Cut
As you may know, during the filming of Halloween II several scenes were filmed and added to the original films so that it could be shown on television. Here is a collection of the new scenes with photos.
Scene 1: A different view of Judith's death which included a toning down of the violence and the elimination of the nudity.
Scene 2: After the opening murder scene, Dr. Loomis meets with two Smiths Grove County Sanitarium officials to discuss the future of Michael Myers. The doctors state that Michael must remain at Smiths Grove until his 21st birthday when he will be tried as a adult for the murder of his sister Judith Myers. Loomis states that the security isn't sufficient at Smiths Grove and that Michael has a powerful force that could drive him to kill again. He asks that Michael be moved to a more secure location. The doctors refuse Loomis's request.
"Michael Myers is the most dangerous patient, I have ever observed!" Dr. Loomis at the hearing.
Scene 3: After the hearing, Loomis goes to see Michael and he informs little Mikey Myers that he has fooled everyone "but not me".
Scene 4: After Michaels escape in 1978, Loomis searches Michaels room for clues with two nurses. They talk about the escape and one nurse shows Loomis the word that Michael wrote on the back of his cell door. Loomis states that he knows that Michael is heading back to Haddonfield.
Scene 5: This scene includes a little bit more dialogue between Laurie, Annie and Lynda. After returning home from school, Laurie proceeds to shower in preparation for her evening of babysitting. Lynda arrives and states that she has been followed. Both girls look out the window in search of Lynda's pursuer. She also wants to borrow Laurie's new blouse. After some dialogue Annie calls and she wants to borrow the blouse also. Overall the scene is the best one that was filmed because it added more interaction between the three girls. Lynda gets to borrow the blouse.
