noah goes solo

Before there was Madnana, he was only one man…

{Check out www.ampcast.com/noahmadrano for full mp3 files, downloads, information, and a whole lot more!}

NEWS:

-                     “1/8 of Happiness” -- my 2nd solo album.  Includes the remixed "Childish Rumors", as well as other live classics such as "Shaken, Not Stirred", "Desert Isle", and the infamous "Masturbation Song"!  I’m finalizing the songs now, and will start recording next month.  I anticipate a July or August release.

-                     "Childish Rumors" final mix!
The final re-mixed version is now available for FREE download on ampcast.com. Using the original version, I cranked the bass, employed special vocal effects and reverb, and added a percussion track.

The 5 W’s, an H, and something else:

What:  Alternative rock, pop rock, acoustic rock, rock.

Where:  Born—Aberdeen, South Dakota.  Hometown—Gresham, Oregon.  Current residence—Eugene, Oregon.

When:  That’s kind of a silly question.

Why:  Artistic expression, entertainment, and a cool way to bitch about stuff.

How:  Acoustic guitar, vocals, keyboard, electrics, and percussion.

Something Else:  Demo CD available.  Let the music speak for itself.

Check out what people are saying about Noah and his music:

“Noah, I checked out “Childish Rumors” and “Carly” ...liked the first one better...you remind me of solo Syd Barrett (he was losing his mind at the time however, but I dig him a lot) ...you’re a little wacky, in a good way... acoustic guitar, melody and words; you've got a weird mix...not bad, keep it up...” –Shag

“A modern-day Shakespeare trapped in the mind of the new Mozart.” –Anon.

“Hi!  I am Noah Madrano.  And this is my Official Noah Madrano information page!” –Noah Madrano

marisaschwart: Noah. . .you're a genious” –Marisa

MP3.com NEWS: Effective April 1, 2001, mp3.com will only give Payback for Playback to their Premium Artists (who pay $20 a month).  Well, since I’ve only gotten $4.21 in 2 months, I won’t be joining this service.  Instead, I am pleased to announce the launch of my ampcast.com page.  Please understand my situation, and understand that Artists Against Premium Service will not tolerate mp3.com’s sad decision.  Thank you.

Where can I hear him play?  How can I set up a gig with him?

Noah plans to have his own concert at the Buzz Café in June (this is different than the Open Mic Nights).  Check back here soon for upcoming gigs.  If you really want to hear him, e-mail him here.  He resides in Eugene, and can play in the Eugene-Portland-Seattle areas.

To get an idea of what he plays, click here for a set list.
