"A very short description" of what this program is

This program is a all in one (10-in-1 to be precise) program that can: split files, copy files into multiple removable disks (diskettes, ZIP drives, UDF CD and DVD (re)writables), copy back from disks, test the removable disks drive, compare files, removes excess files between similar folders, format removable disks, view/end/terminate programs in any Windows (from 95 to above), and entertain you a bit with two little games!

This program is to me an essential tool for those occasions when I've got to carry home 50MB in 1.44MB 3.5" disks (or 50GB in CD/DVD UDF Format), because file splitting is one thing, copying those splits is a whole other! (feels more like a sales pitch than a description, doesn't it? But this is FreeWare! It isn't for sale!)

"Short Version" of what this program is and what it does:

- Do File Splitting;

- "Split &/Or Copy"/"Copy &/Or Join" to and from any removable disk, using windows file copying services (similar to backup and restore);

- Test if that public removable disks drives are working well with both writing and reading;

- Compare files/folders in a recursive "fashion";

- Compare similar folders and remove the ones that already exist in the base folder;

- Format removable disks, using Windows Format Dialog;

- Copy Files into .wav format so you can burn the files onto CD-RW and transport 1.15 times more data, i.e., 800MB in a 700MB CD (Use with Caution!);

- View all the programs currently running in any Windows versions (95/NT and above);

- And while you wait for that "300MB" (or 30GB) file(s) to Split/Backup/Restore/Compare, you can improve your intuition towards shooting in a real time / turn based computer "SWAT" like game!... Or... "betting" in horse races!!

And all this using without abusing (or not) the Microsoft Windows 9x / NT (and above), i.e., you can have them all working at the same time! All in one program, but Independent Windows. The one problem is that there is no help file... just Abouts!!... And Tool Tips! :)

So... this program is not for sale, for it is FREEWARE, although, since I Am saving YOU money (somewhere between $5 and $30), I would like to recommend such investment should be done on research for the cure to cancer or some other fatal illness or disease.

"Long Version" of what this program is and what it does:

- Can split files (up to 1000 splits);

- Copy files to/from any removable disks drive, any size, but without any compression (!), since the standard file copying services provided by Windows are used.

- Can test drives by using the standard file copying services provided by Windows (SHFileOperation ... the "miracle" function!).

- Can format removable disks by use of the Windows formatting dialog (SHFormatDrive ... another "miracle" function).

- Can compare files of any size, with or without recursive action, although it still can�t compare files in the following fashion: "e*v.e*" vs "f*d.r*"; so if anyone can help me, go to the end of this page and mail me :) !

- Can compare two similar folders and remove the files that exist in both from one of the folders. This functionality was added because I use it for "manual" backup of folders (Windows and Program Files), and instead of only having the latest backup, I can have access to multiple backup versions, since the first compressed file has the base and the other files only have the differences, ie, the files that don't exist in the base that were sorted out by this subprogram;

- Copy Files into .wav format so you can burn the files onto CD-RW and transport 1.15 times more data, i.e., 800MB in a 700MB CD. The Downside is that if you get one single tiny and little scratch on the cd... pufff, gone be the file integraty. So, you should use this capability carefully!

- And can entertain you (for an undetermined amount of time) with two intuitive oriented subprograms/games, i.e., increase your ability in the art of guessing what is when and where! Such as target practice in a S.W.A.T. like type game (X-Com and Jagged Alliance are some of the types); or "betting" in what horse will win the race! This intuition is none the less oriented to mathematically created randomness!!!

AND all of these "operations" can be done at the same time, and only by running one executable! Once!! Depending although on Hardware and OS-Ware (which version of Windows you�re using (All existing Windows from 95 to XP are supported))!�
