Competition of Women in Business Club
The competition of the Women in Business Club is with other clubs. There are multiple larger clubs in the business community at Utah Tech University. For example, the largest and most competitive club is DECA. DECA stands for Distributive Education Clubs of America.
A solution that we have come up with for this problem is actually partnering with the larger clubs. For example, in the past we have partnered and collaborated with the Human Resources club.
What our competition does right is their advertisement. They make it a priority to have a speaker attend every business class to advertise their clubs. However, one thing that some may think they are doing wrong is the time commitment. That’s why we believe we are the perfect fit for everyone. Our UT Women in Business Club is designed to fit the lives and crazy schedules of busy college students.
A method that we would like to incorporate in the school year is to increase our advertising. We are planning to post advertisements around campus, and to attend more events on campus as well.
