| This is the rarest gerbil to be kept as a pet.It is much larger then the Mongolian gerbil, fully grown it is 20cm (8in) in length (the male are twice as big as the females).It's ear are very long and the eyes are oval in shape and with the same red hue as the Egyptian gerbil. It is more aggressive and difficult to breed as the female tend to eat their young. | ||||||||||
