| This breed is much larger then the Mongolian gerbil and the fur has a hint of red. It differs from other gerbils in that it is a solitary animal and the males and females do not stay together after mating.It appears to look more like a rat and is inclined to bite ferociously, because of this it doe's not make a good pet. Their pregnancy is around 26 day and the pups are on solid food by 25 days and should be all be moved into their own cages. | ||||||||||||
