| Then I bolted the AC side of the adapter in and began aligning the York. I used a straightedge as well as an old fan belt to line up the pulleys. I used shims of wood on top of the frame rail to shift the position of the York. This alignment is critical. Here you can see the straight bit of wood I was using to line things up. | |||||||||||||||
| Once I had it in a spot that I liked, I just reached in and spot welded the York plate of the adapter to the box spacer on the AC plate. Also, as you can see from the pictures above I had to remove the right side input flange and reverse it so that the York would fit. |

| After making the spot weld, I removed the adapter and finished welding it up. I also added a second 2x2 spacer for extra strength. | |||||||||||||||
