| Now I removed the bottom and top bolts attaching the alternator, removed the belts and set it aside in the engine bay as well. I did not remove the wires running to the alternator so that reinstallation would be easier | ||||||||||||
| With the alternator removed, the next step was removal of the power steering bracket. This is the bolt connecting the bottom of the Y shaped bracket to the block. | ||||||||||||
