I worship the Goddess and her Consort, the God....they are one and the same, yet eternally separate. When in prayer/ritual, i speak of all three: Mother, Father, and the Great Spirit. I don't believe in the Devil, in the sense of Eternal Damnation and Hell. I Do Not Practice Satanism, Black Magick, etc....i could get yelled at for EVEN putting those two in the Same Sentence...so, do forgive me for doing so, if you are a Satanist and you read this.
I respect all life and death. I practice magick, and believe in the Spiritual Plane. I also feel that there are more species on this planet that modern man is not aware of...and i don't just mean Nessie...i mean the Wee Folk, and Werewolves, and especially Vampires. I believe in Psychic Abilities...why? Because on average, the modern human uses less than 5% of its brain's capabilities.
just added my coven/grrlies to the Witches' Voice listing of Circles/Groups. The FoxFyre Circle...makes sense....i don't know why i've waited this long to do it...we're so weird. I can't wait for candice to come back and visit again. My Grrls are my life...we will forever walk in the Flames together!!!
A PRAYER
By my Goddess, I do swear My Love, and all of my Mine Eyes' Devotion. By My God, I do Decree that I will share my thoughts, and Bless Thy Good Name....With open mind/heart/Arms, These things and more, I Pray...BLESSED BE!
1) INGRIEDIENTS: 2 cups distilled water, 1/2 cup rose petals (chemical/bug free), 20 drops of rose frg. oil (optional), glass container, such as a mason jar or bottle.
Fill the glass container with the distilled water...place the fresh/clean rose petals inside, taking care not to make them compact with in the container. Add the additional rose oil, if you so wish...and stir. Seal and store container in a dark, cool place for 1-2 weeks...swirl the product every few days...
roughly, this makes two cups, and has a shelf life of 30 days after the 2 week aging process...in this case, petals don't have to be removed...I have heard that it is better to do so, for the shelf life increases...To Each His Own, I say...my mom doesn't remove her petals from rose vinegar, so it's purely up to the individual.
2) A different way is to boil (lightly) the amount of roses you gather in a pot, with just enough water to cover them...which is roughly the same equation as the 2 cups: 1/2 cup previously mentioned. Let the Water cool, and strain carefully. Pour into container and keep for a few days-week, before usage...then, the same 30 day rule, basically, applies...
