After The Party

Part 2

Nick poked his head round the door. "Hey Guys. Whatcha doing hiding out in here?"

Howie recovered first, and answered for both of them "Nothing much Nick, just y'know. Talking. It was too loud downstairs."

Nick smiled, apparently falling for the lie. "Yeah, well, sorry to disturb your little heart to heart, but Brian, Leighanne, Kevin and Kristin are all gonna head out. I thought you'd wanna say bye."

"Thanks Nick, we're coming." AJ said, as he stood up, finally regaining his voice.

Nick smiled and left, shutting the door behind him. Howie got up and grabbed AJ's arm, pulling him down for another quick kiss.

"You'd better not be coming Bone. Save it for later." He smirked as he let go of AJ and headed towards the door, leaving AJ standing there, rendered speechless. Howie turned in the doorway and gave AJ a big grin, which AJ returned, after he shook himself out of the shock, and the pair headed downstairs to say goodbye to their friends.

Despite the departure of the Littrel's and the Richardson's, the party showed no signs of ending, much to AJ's annoyance. He wanted everybody to bugger off back to their own homes so that he and Howie could pick up where they had left off. Howie really wasn't helping any, because he was constantly flirting with women in front of AJ, and doing his best to wind his friend up into a frenzy. And it was working. By the time only Nick and Howie were left, AJ was ready to throw Howie up against the nearest wall and fuck him senseless.

Nick had noticed AJ's agitated state and questioned Howie as to what was causing it.

"I have no idea Nick."

"You sure?"

Howie stared up into Nick's blue eyes and smiled gently.

"Maybe he's just tired. You know he sometimes has trouble sleeping nowadays."

Nick looked worried by this. "Do ya think he'll be alright tonight? Maybe I should stay here with him?"

Howie's face paled as he thought about it. He needed to get rid of Nick. There was a hot man in the other room that he needed to get back to, and Nick was about to ruin it. He caught himself before he gave his agitation away to Nick. "I dunno Nick. He'll probably get suspicious if you stick around tonight, he'll wonder why you don't wanna go back, and you know how sensitive he can get 'bout this stuff." He looked thoughtful for a moment before looking back at Nick. "I'll tell ya what. It's a long drive back to my place, so I'll tell him I've had too much to drink and I wanna stay here tonight. That way I can keep an eye on him, and he won't be suspicious. Okay?"

Nick smiled brightly at Howie, obviously buying Howie's reasoning. "That's a good idea D. You're so good to him.'

Howie smiled back, thinking to himself 'If only you knew Nicky, if only you knew.'

A few minutes later, after some gentle urging by Howie, Nick left. Howie smiled brightly to himself, wondering where AJ had gotten to. He wondered around the house looking for him, and was drawn to the games room by the sounds of soft music.

Howie stood in the doorway, and watched as AJ played a game of pool by himself, skilfully potting the balls. He didn't notice Howie until he felt strong arms wrap around his torso as he leaned over to take a shot.

'It's just us now' Howie whispered in his ear, sending shivers down his spine. Howie felt this and smiled. Pleased with the power he held over his friend. AJ leaned back into Howie's touch, and sighed. Howie released his grip slightly, and AJ turned around in the embrace, so that he could see Howie. Howie reached up and gently removed AJ's sunglasses so that he could stare into those beautiful eyes again. He then wrapped his arms around AJ's neck loosely, dangling the sunglasses from his fingers. AJ wrapped his own arms around Howie's waist, pulling him in gently for another kiss. This one was slow, soft and gentle as each explored the others mouth.
