Betty Doubtfire walked into the boardroom for the second time.  Howie had called her to make sure she remembers to be there to meet Alexanderia.  While she was talking to Howie on the phone she thought 'nice young man, he would have been perfect for my granddaughter Katie; too bad he's gay.  Not a right practice anyway.  I don't care what they do but to bring a little girl into the picture that is sacrilegious.'  When Betty Doubtfire walked into the boardroom she saw Nick and Brian fighting over something, with Kevin sitting in one of the corners with his eyes closed and Howie and AJ in another corner reading a book to Alexanderia.

'Well at least they are reading to her, I hope it is appropriate.' Betty Doubtfire cleared her throat.  When she did that Nick and Brian stopped their conversation/argument, Kevin open his eyes and AJ and Howie stopped reading.  Which didn't set well with Alexanderia because they just gotten to the part where Harry finds out that he is a wizard.  Kevin, Nick, Brian, AJ and Howie got up and met Betty Doubtfire.  

"Mrs. Doubtfire, I'm glad that you could make it.  Let me introduce you to Alexanderia" said Howie.  Howie called for Alexanderia to come to him.  She did but very slowly.  

AJ and Howie bent down and they explained to her "sweetie, this is Mrs. Doubtfire she is going to come along with us when we go on tour.  Do you remember when Daddy explained to you about the tour?" Alexanderia nodded yes.   "Okay, so remember when I said that sometimes we will be too busy to play with you." Alexanderia nodded her head yes again.  "So Mrs. Doubtfire is going to play with you when me, Daddy, Uncle Kevin, Uncle Brian and Uncle Nick can't."

Betty Doubtfire thought to herself 'I am not this child's playmate.  I am a caregiver!'

Alexanderia looked up at Betty Doubtfire; there was something about the woman that Alexanderia didn't like.  

"Maybe we should go into one of the corners so we can get to know each other better" said Mrs. Doubtfire with a fake smile on her face.  She really just wanted to get away from Howie and AJ.

"Sure why don't you sit over there while we be over in this corner?" said AJ.  Betty Doubtfire reached out her hand for Alexanderia.  Alexanderia in turn grabbed a hold of Howie's leg.

Betty Doubtfire didn't like this at all 'this child must learn whenever someone tells her to do something she must do it, immediately.'

Howie bent down and picked up Alexanderia "its okay we're just going to be over there.  And you have to make friends with Mrs. Doubtfire so that way when Daddy and me come to get you after we've done working you will miss playing with Mrs. Doubtfire.  So are you going to go with Mrs. Doubtfire, now?" Alexanderia nodded her head yes but she really wanted to say no.  

Betty Doubtfire didn't like this 'when a child is spoken to they must answer.  I see that my first impression was right she is a spoil little brat.  Well we will see how she is under my care.  None of this picking up, she can walk; and especially none of this nodded of the head.'

Howie passed Alexanderia to Mrs. Doubtfire, who took her but wasn't happy about it.  Mrs. Doubtfire put Alexanderia down and they walked to one of the corners.

AJ stopped them before they got there "stopped for a minute.  Alexanderia you go ahead and sit I want to speak to Mrs. Doubtfire."  Alexanderia did just that and AJ walked up to Mrs. Doubtfire.  

"We forgot to mention something to you last time that we spoke to you." Betty Doubtfire thought 'what know one of you is not really a man.'  "We forgot to mention that Alexanderia doesn't talk.  I mean we know that she can but she has some tragic events happen in the passed couple of weeks.  I just wanted to let you know that."  

"Thank you Mr. McLean" with that she turned and went to go sit with Alexanderia.  Meanwhile thinking to herself 'that really doesn't make a difference to me.  We all had a tough life that girl needs to toughing up.  Its good that she learns it young so that way when she gets older it won't be hard.  And maybe I can use this to my advantage.  I mean usually the spoil little brats will run to their parents and tell them about my discipline but since Alexanderia doesn't talk this could be a good thing.'

Betty Doubtfire sat down and began talking to Alexanderia "now listen here I am not your playmate.  I will not play with you.  If you want something then ask, whatever I say goes don't go running to your fathers or the others.  And you will do what I say."  All the while that Betty Doubtfire was saying this she had a fake smile on her face so it looked like she was having a nice conversation with Alexanderia.  

"Now I want you to give me a hug."  Alexanderia just looked at her  "I mean now and let me remember you never let me have to ask you twice to do something."  Alexanderia reaches out and put her arms around her.  "That's better."

"Well that is all for today, I have to go but I remind you to remember what I said.  You don't want me mad at you."  Betty Doubtfire got up but before she did she pinched Alexanderia on the cheek.  Now from far away it looks like a harmless pinch, the ones that grandmothers do to tell you how cute you are.  But it wasn't like that at all.  If Alexanderia skin complication were lighter you would have seem a red mark.

Betty Doubtfire walked over to where AJ, Howie, Kevin, Nick and Brian were sitting.  "I'm afraid that I have to go but I will see you in two days when we leave."

"Okay then, how did things go with Alexanderia?" asked AJ.

"Oh it went well, she's a nice and pretty little girl.  I can't wait to get to know her better."

"I'm glad that you two are getting along," said AJ.

"So am I, but I really must go now, goodbye."

"Goodbye" they all said.

Alexanderia watched Betty Doubtfire leave and when she was gone Alexanderia ran to Howie and grabbed his legs.

Howie looked down and when to pick her up but she wouldn't let go.  Howie tried again and she still wouldn't let go.  Howie looked up at the guys.  Kevin and Brian where scared they never seen this before.  But AJ was used to it even though it hasn't happen in a week; Nick had seen it one time before.  

AJ looked up at Howie and to tell him that he'll try and help.  AJ bent down and began talking very softly to Alexanderia "its okay sweetie, but you have to let go of Papa's leg.  You can't stay like that forever, why don't you let Papa or me pick you up.  Let will be much better so that way you can see our face and we can see your pretty face."  Alexanderia did let go and let Howie pick her up.  AJ was glad but he wished that she would come to him.

Seeing this Kevin thought that they should get Alexanderia home.  "I'm guys why don't we just call it a day."

Howie and AJ looked over at Kevin with a thankful expression.  "See now we can go home and we can finish reading Harry Potter.  Well maybe not the whole book, we'll see how many chapters we can read," said Howie and AJ.

In the parking lot Brian stopped them "hey are you guys coming to dinner tonight.  You know Leighanne read this health food healthy life book and she wants to try the recipes."

Kevin, Nick, AJ and Howie all looked at each other "yeah we're coming" all three said.

"Good, well see you tonight" with that Brian got in his car.

"This should be an interesting night," said Nick.  Kevin, AJ and Howie nodded their heads in agreement and they all got in their cars and drove home.
