By the time they got home Alexanderia was almost back to her normal self.  Howie was trying to get her to take a nap but she held up Harry Potter and the Philosopher Stone.

"Oh okay, we'll continue the story" said Howie taking the book from her and picking her up.  Howie had to admit to himself that he too was getting into Harry Potter.  'Damn that Kevin for giving her these books.'

10 minutes later the doorbell rang and AJ went to go answer it.  To his surprise it was Howie's mom at the door.

"Hey Paula" he said while hugging her.  "Come on in, what are you doing here? Not that I mind of course."

"Calm down Alex, I know what you mean.  I came to see my granddaughter.  How has she been lately."

"She seems to be improving everyday, expect for we had a little set back early today.  But she seems back to normal now."

"Has she talked yet?"

"No, but she is smiling and laughing more.  We think that it will be any day now that she will talk."

"I'm glad to hear that.  I brought her a present that I thought may help a bit."

The two continue walking until they we upstairs in Alexanderia's room.  When Howie looked up he was surprise to see his mom aswell.  

"Mom, hey what are you doing here? This is a nice surprise.  Alexanderia look who it is, Abuelita" said Howie getting up to hug his mom and bringing Alexanderia with him.  Alexanderia waved to her.

"I can't really stay that long, I brought something for Alexanderia that I thought may help her feel more comfortable.  I was doing some cleaning when I found this" said Denise holding up a teddy bear.

"You found Tender Heart, where did you find him?" said Howie with a smile coming across his face.

"Who is tender Heart?" asked AJ.

"He's one of the Care Bears.  I used to take him everywhere with me."

AJ nodded his head like he understood.

"I found it in a box that said old clothes and I thought that Alexanderia may like this."  She bent down and talked to Alexanderia.  "This used to belong to your Papa when he was your age.  He uses to take it everywhere with him and tell him all his secrets.  And Tender Heart never told anyone.  Tender Heart told me that he was lonely and he wanted to help another child.  Because you know that's what Care Bears do.  They help children all over the world to find their voice.  So I told Tender Heart that I had the perfect child for him.  And Tender Heart was so happy that he wanted to come over right away.  So here he is" and with those words Paula handed the Tender Heart to Alexanderia.

Alexanderia took the bear from Paula.  She looks at the bear and then she looked at Paula and gave Paula a hug.  "Well thank you sweetie, I should be headed back home."  

"Already Mom but you just got here.  I know but I have things to do.  But I will see all of you guys before you leave."

"Okay Mom, let me walk you to the door."  Howie turned to Alexanderia "I'll be right back.  Don't let Daddy start reading I want to know what's happening too."

Howie and Paula went downstairs.  Before she left Howie gave her a hug again and whisper "thanks Mom."

"Your welcome honey" and she squeeze him a little harder.

Howie watched his Mom leave and soon as she pulled out of the driveway he went back upstairs.  When he got to the top of the stairs Alexanderia was waiting there with the book.  Howie picked her up and they went to her room.  "Okay we finish this chapter and then you will take a nap before we go to Uncle Brian's and Aunt Leighanne."  

Alexanderia shook her head no.  

"Yes" said Howie.

She shook her head no.

"Yes" said both AJ and Howie.

Alexanderia wanted to shake her head no but she nodded her head yes.

"Good, now let's finish this chapter."  Howie began to read.

When Howie was finish reading the chapter, Alexanderia got into her bed with Tender Heart and closed her eyes.  She heard Howie and AJ talking and when she didn't hear their voices anymore.  She opens her eyes to make sure that they were gone.  When she didn't see them she got out of bed and started to play with her Barbies; she really wanted to play with her train set but that would make too much noise.

When she got bored with that she did decided to talk to Tender Heart.  She whispered into the bear's ear.  "Hi, Abuelita said that you were good to talk to.  That you keep all of Papa's secrets when he was a little boy.  Will you keep mine?" Alexanderia put tender Heart's mouth to her ear.  "Yes you will, my Momma left me with my Daddy.  And then I found out that I had a Papa too.  And an Uncle Nick, Uncle Kevin, Uncle Brian and Aunt Kristin and Leighanne.  And a Grandma and an Aubelita and a Grandpa.  I used to have a Granny but she went to heaven to play with the angels.  I can't remember her a lot.  I used to live with my Granny.  When Granny went to go play with the angels I had to stay with my Momma.  I don't like it there, sometimes she would leave me alone or she would leave me at people's houses for a long time.  So when my Momma comes back I don't want to leave I want to stay with Daddy and Papa."  

Alexanderia was going to continue but she heard movement outside her door and she ran to her bed and pulled the covers over herself.  AJ walk into the room and he sat by her bed.

"Sweetie, its time to get ready to go to Uncle Brian's house."

Alexanderia sat up and pretended to rub the sleep out of her eyes.  And AJ picked her up and they left to get ready.
