“I’m so sorry... I shouldn’t have said that...” the blond guy said feeling guilty. “It’s ok” Melissa’s father started saying while the lads sat down at some chairs “it’s just that Melanie was Melissa’s best friend and the most important person in the world to her and she’s just lost without her, you know? She just closed herself inside and won’t let nobody in... I’m really scared for her.... I know how she feels, I mean, Melanie’s my daughter.... but... “he continues while looking outside at the window “she needs a break from it all... I just dunno what to do...” Suddenly the other blond left says with a smile: “Why doesn’t she come with us on tour next week? She’d be able to go out... We’ll try to make her feel comfortable and make her have a good time!” The others agree smiling. “I don’t know if she’ll accept it, but I reckon it’ll be a great idea! But it’ll be too much work to have an extra person on the trip....” “It’ll be ok...I’ll just phone the guys... where can I phone?” the blond asked. “Go to the living room... You can there... this place isn’t very good for mobiles, but you can send a call there” “Ok, I’ll be right back.” he said leaving the room. “So... How’s the tour going?” Melissa’s father asked. “Great! I can’t belive they actually like us! It’s so cool!” the blond “very-Ronan-alike” “Wait... My name is Tom... What are yours? I know the names but I don’t who they belong to...” “Oh, ok. This blond here is Bryan, he’s Mark, he’s Shane, the blond who went to the living room is Kian and I’m Nicky.” the blond answered. “Oh... you should be called Ronan!” Tom laughed. “He should!!! And he is mistaken for him loads of times!” Bryan said laughing. “I’m back” said Kian closing the door “It’s fine with them if it’s with you! I just said that it was two friend of ours and they said fine, so...” “Two?” Tom asked confused. “It’s better, ‘cause we’ll be doing many shows... so she might fell lonely sometimes...” he explained. “Yeah... you’re right... Would you come with and ask her?” Tom asked them, standing up from his chair. “Sure! Com’on lads!” Nicky said smiling. They got out from the studio and went looking for her. she was in the garden sitting in some wood swings. “Melissa? Can we talk to you?” Tom asked. “Leave me alone, dad, please!” she said crying. “Melissa, look at me...” She turned around to reveal her face so red from crying. “What?” she asked. “Do you want to get out of Dublin on a trip? Get out of everything here?” he asked. “Why? I do, but how?” “Well, these guys here are going on tour so you can go with them...” “You’re sure?” she asked whipping the tears out of her eyes. “Yes, we’re sure. You have to bring a friend though” Kian said smiling “I’m Kian by the way...” “Hi... A friend? I dunno...” she said looking at the ground. “Why don’t you take Billie?” Tom asked her “ She’s your cousin... you two are very close.” “Ok...” she said almost whispering. “What did you said?” Kian said teasing. “OK.” she said. “I didn’t heard you!” He tease again. “Ok!” she shouted laughing “I’ll go!” The lads started to jump up down, screaming “YEAH!”, making her laugh even more. “See,” Tom whispered “You’ll have a good time” “I dunno...” she answered thinking about Melanie. Suddenly, Bryan grabbed her and carried her in his arms inside. “Put me down!” she shouted laughing. “No way! Com’on lads! Let’s make this beauty here laugh!” Bryan said laughing. The lads and Tom followed them inside laughing. |
