| Jimmy Not In Good Condition During Filming Progress |
| The filming had been going on for more than 10 days, but there seem to be some diffic- ulties in the progress. For Ji- mmy portraying as Duan Yu who make up most of the sce- nes in the show, he was too slow in settling into the situat- ion and his coordination with the other artistes isn't good, raising concern among the pr- oduction team. The previous night, when producer Zhang Ji Zhong was looking through the tapes, he strongly felt that Jimmy wasn't in condition, and expressed that he must look for Jimmy to communica- te, or else this would affect the production. Earlier when the production disclosed the namelist of the artistes involved, Jimmy had faced fierce discussions aga- inst his portrayal as Duan Yu by Jin Yong fans, saying that he is too old for the role, and lacking Duan Yu's elegant and gentlemanly airs. At that time, Zhang Ji Zhong had sa- id that among the other choic- es of actors for Duan Yu, Jim- my had better qualities for the role. The previous night, after watching the tapes in Beijing, he felt that Jimmy wasn't in good condition. | in scenes together with Hu Jun, Chen Hao, Liu Tao, etc, Jimmy doesn't seem to blend in well with them. Zhang Ji Zhong said, "Duan Yu appears from the start till the end, direct- ly determine the success of the whole serial, he must settle in- to situation as soon as possib-le!" It was observed in the film set that Jimmy isn't sociable enou- gh, when there were breaks in between, he didn't really talk to the others much. Although Zha- ng Ji Zhong is very worried that Jimmy isn't in condition curren- tly, he remains optimistic, say- ing, "While the scenes were filmed in Beijing currently, Jim- my's appearance in the scenes isn't much, mostly passing scenes and the main focus is on Hu Jun. Moreover, Jimmy had only just join the team and haven't totally familiarised with the whole production team yet, so there's still time to solve this problem." Currently, Zhang Ji Zhong had exchanged his thoughts with the director and he will personally have an inte- raction with Jimmy, to help him quickly get into his best condit- ion. | Jimmy Adjust Himself, Putting All His Mind Into Filming |
| After the previous news about Ji- mmy being unable to adjust in- to situation, it had raised concern among his fans, and received att- ention from the filming crew. Yesterday, producer Zhang Ji Zh- ong headed for the filmset and had a frank interaction with Jim- my. Towards the crew's worries and reminders, Jimmy graciously accepted them all, and express- ed that he would definitely put in his very best to portray the role of 'Duan Yu' well, and reminded his fans not to worry about him. After realising that Jimmy wasn't in his best condition, Zhang Ji Zhong immediately reminded the director and crew to pay attention. Yesterday afternoon, he also he- aded to the filming ground to look for Jimmy and had a chat. He po- inted out that Jimmy hasn't adjust himself well, and even brought the completed tapes to analyse them. Jimmy sincerely accepted his advices and admitted that at the start, he still wasn't able to adjust himself. Zhang Ji Zhong advised that he should interact more with the cast and director, but not to be too anxious, and must never give himself any pre- ssure. Jimmy told reporters that being his first time to work with such a big group of people, there is definitely pressure, but he wo- uld not slack and would concent- rate hard in his work. During the filming of a fighting sc- ene in Liu Du, Jimmy was always seen together with Gao Hu who acts as Xu Zhu, discussing about the script and their roles, showin- g an improvement in his spirits. After the stuntman had completed his long range shots, it was Jim- my's scenes, and he had to hang in mid air, heading towards the ground again and again. This close-up scene was finally ok aft- er 5 or 6 tries. Then, Jimmy also had a fighting scene with Gao Hu, joining force to defeat an army, which was only completed when it almost reached evening. For the whole process, Jimmy had to hang in mid air many times, flying towards the camera at ground le- vel repeatedly, but he did not ma- ke a single complaint. After the fi- nal scene was completed, every- one gave him a big round of app- lause as an encouragement. The action director was very satisfied with Jimmy's performance; after all, Jimmy had done many action films, having a strong foundation in the action movements, thus would be able to perform well as the highly-skilled Duan Yu. | CTV Bought TLBB Broadcasting Rights |
| Recently, CTV had bought the broadcasting rights of TLBB, starring Jimmy, Hu Jun, Liu Yi Fei, etc. Although the serial is still und- ergoing filming process, but CTV is very confident of this serial in the market, and inve- sted large amounts to buy its rights. Jimmy who is still in China, was very happy when he heard this news, "QTDS starring Dicky and I had obtai- ned good viewership during its airing in the summer holid- ays, I hope TLBB will also gain audiences' liking." | Jimmy Rebutted Rumour About 'Not Settling Into Situation' |
| Recently, it was rumoured that Ji-mmy wasn't 'settled into filming situation' when filming for the se- rial 'TLBB'. For this, Jimmy sigh- ed and said, "I had already exp- lained this question to few hund- reds of people. Don't know how such a rumour arise." He expres- sed that as his personality and Duan Yu is quite similar, so he is confident in protraying this chara- cter well. He said that ever since he joined the team, he had got along well with everyone, he didn't feel unc- omfortable at all. He said frankly that he felt pressurised everytime when filming, but as he had kno- wn Chen Hao (as A-Zi) and Gao Hu (as Xu Zhu) very well, he felt more relaxed when working toge- ther with them. | Underaged In Front Of Him, Jimmy Unable To Do It |

| Accepting to film Jin Yong sw- ordfighting novel for the first ti- me, Jimmy had to undress 15 year old Liu Yi Fei, however, being an experienced actor, this time, it makes him very nervous; his fingers trembling; his face and ears turning red, not knowing how to start. Inst- ead, Liu Yi Fei who is from US is more open and said, "I'm not nervous at all, Jimmy is my idol!" In this scene, Jimmy carried the poisoned and weak Liu Yi Fei to escape from trouble and both of them hid in a cott- age. Jimmy had to take of her clothes which were soaked th- rough, to prevent her from cat- ching cold. She wore a tube top inside, liberally waiting for Jimmy to undress her, but Ji- mmy didn't know how to start and even turned red, and had to retake many times. In the end, even the director got imp- atient and said, "Jimmy, just take off her clothes, what are you nervous about?" Later, he laughed bitterly, "Can't help it, I'm shy by nature. Liu Yi Fei had also known ab- out Jimmy in USA, as Jimmy had been the ambassador for the anti-drug campaign for the US White House. He is the first Chinese to receive such great honour, and this left a deep impression on her. She said, "I ever watched Jimmy's anti-drug advertisement when I was in America, where he snow-ski, played bowling, ten- nis, basketball, exhibiting the healthy and sunny image. No- w seeing him in person, he is exactly like that as seen in the advertisement, like a warm and easy-going big brother, and often make me laugh, ve- ry humourous and fun."
