| Course Description The HSC course is designed for students to investigate national and international forces for change and continuity in the 20th century through three major studies. They include topics such as; Nazi Germany, World War One, Albert Speer and Conflict in Indochina. Main Topic Covered Part I: Core Study (30%)World War 1 and its Aftermath, 1914 �1921 Part II: National Study (40%) Students are to choose ONE from the following: China, USA, Japan, India, Germany, Australia, Russia/Soviet Union and Indonesia- This also includes the study of personalities� Part III: International Studies in Peace and Conflict (30%) Students are to choose ONE from:� The Pacific War, Cold War, The United Nations as Peacekeeper, Anglo-Irish Relations, Conflict in South Africa, Arab-Israel Conflict, Conflict in Indochina. |
