Biography

From Troubled Youth to Troubled Trainee

The history of Mack is no simple walk through the park.  It all starts out with a family of three walking down a street in New York one peaceful fall afternoon in October of 1990.  There was a husband, wife, and a young Mack at the age of 10.  But in another 5 minutes, Mack's life was going to be turned upside down.  As Mack stopped to tie his shoes, his parents went own ahead a little bit.  When they had turned to check on the young one, a car being chased by the police jumped the curb and hit Mack's parents, killing them on the spot.  Mack has never forgotten the bloody imagery that he saw that day

and how it felt to be covered in another persons blood.  This was just the first of many things leading to the problems that Mack would have.
With Mack having no other living relatives, he had to go live with his grandparents in Raleigh, North Carolina.  But since the day that his parents was killed, Mack turned into a wild child.  There was nothing that his grandparent's could do except bail him out of jail and keep him in school.  One night as the now 14 year old Mack was out causing trouble one night, he came to a building "Super Star Steve's Gym."  Mack went around to the back, busted out a window, and entered the building.  As he went through the bark building he walked into a ring with a wrestling ring in the center of it.  He was amazed by the beauty of it.  He walked closer to it he made sure not to run into anything.  He slide under the ring and walked to the  center of the ring and felt complete standing there.  Suddenly a spot light came on the ring and a voice telling him to stay.  Mack could see the outline of a older figure in his 40 coming up to him.  Mack started to run back to the exit thanking that he was to fast for the man.  Mack rolled under the ropes and made a break for the door.  He was almost to the door when he looked back and didn't see the man.  He turned to the door and there he stood.  Mack tried to run again but the man go him into a headlock, flipped him over, and got him into an ankle lock.  Mack wasn't going anywhere.  When he tried to get up and run the man put more pressure on the hold.  Before to long Mack stopped trying to get free.  After a lot more pain Mack and the owner, Super Star Steve, agreed that Mack would work there to repay for the window and Steve would not call the police to lock up Mack.  The month that Mack worked there changed his life for ever.  During the time period Mack feel in love with that building and the stuff that went on in there.  After the month was up, Steve and Mack had a chat in Steve's office.

Steve:  Okay your done paying for the window...Leave and never come back.

Mack:  Sire....I would like to ask you something....

Steve: Okay shoot.

::Steve could tell what was coming and he knew that he would take Mack in cause he did that for troubled youth.  But he wanted to give him a hard time to build up Mack's character.::

Mack:  I would like to come train here.

Steve (with a smirk on his face): Why should I allow you in here.  You have vandalized my building and are nothing more then a little thief that will be locked up before a week is up.

Mack: I don't have to take this crap from you.

::Mack gets up and starts to walk out.  Steve is smiling with a big grin now.  Mack stops at the front door and starts to hesitates.  Steve steps to the door of his off and leans against the frame.  As Steve starts to talk the wrestler trainees in the building stop and look.  One trainee looks on cause the Young Mack had caught hit eye.::

Steve:  If you walk out that door right now you have given up.  You will go back to the life that you have lived for the past four years.  And its not going to lead you anywhere but in the ground with your parents.  ::Mack lowers his head::  But if you stay here I will train you and change your life, but it has to be under my rules.

::Mack looks out the door and open it up.::

Steve:  This is the only offer, you go out that door, you will not get a second chance.

Guy from the side:  Let him go Steve, he is nothing more then trash.  He has nothing of worth in him.

Steve (to guy):  You may be right Scotty but its still up to him.

Scotty Harrison:  He is not going to be anything if he stays.  Just a youth with no talent.

::Scotty goes back to his training as Mack stands in the door way deciding what to do.  Steve walks over to him and puts a hand on his shoulder.::

Steve:  Let me show you the way.

::Mack turns to Steve and walks in the gym.  The door closes behind them.::

Trainee to Rookie

When Mack agreed to stay and train with Steve, Steve put down a few ground rules.  First, Mack was to stay in school and keep his grades up.  Second, Mack was not to be in any kind of trouble.  Third, he was to obey Super Star Steve in everything he said, no matter how ridicules it sounded.  If Mack didn't follow the rules he would be kick out right then and there, no questions asked.  Mack agreed to the rules and started training.  He started to get straight A's in school, stayed out of trouble, and obeyed Steve.  Mack's grandparents could tell the biggest difference in how Mack was.  The only time that Mack had a problem with Steve was after 6 months of training, when Steve put Mack under Scotty Harrison.  Scotty was to train Mack in highflying moves and submissions.  Both men didn't agree to this at all.  But Steve saw the power they had together.  Mack and Scotty didn't get along at all.  They gave each other a hard time.  Steve saw this and decided to the best way for them to get over it was to let them fight.  So that Friday night, March 11th, 1994, Mack had his first of many matches against his future partner, mentor, stable mate, and friend Scotty "Kamakazi" Harrison.

Super Star Steve:  In this corner we have Kamakzi.

::The group of locals cheerer from a bench to the sided.::

Steve:  In the opposite corner, making his debut into the ring, Mack.

::A few claps from the people.::

Kama:  I warn you now boy, you better Fear me.

Mack:  I fear no man, you better watch out for my Wrath.

Kama:  Ha!  This is going to be fun.

::Steve calls for the bell.  Mack and Kama start to circle around each other.  Kama gets the first move in and takes Mack to the ground with a fireman's carry.   He then lift Mack back up and executes a beautiful suplex.  Mack lays there on the mat trying to catch his breath.::

Kama:  I told you Steve, NO worth.

::Kama starts to exit the ring when Mack gets up and dropkicks Kama in the back.  Kama stumbles to the ropes.::

Mack:  I show you, no worth.

::Kama runs at Mack but Mack gets a arm bar through off.  Kama rolls to the ropes and gets on one knee and shakes off what just happened.  Mack is standing in the ring waiting for him.  Kama gets up and walks to the middle of the ring.  The lock up.::

Kama:  You know you don't belong here.  Your too young and are good for nothing.

Mack:  If you think that why did you train me so hard.

Kama:  Because Steve told me too.

Mack:  I saw you train other the month I was working here.  You didn't put them through half the stuff you have put me through.

::Mack throws Kama to the ropes.  On the return Mack tries to lock in a sleeper hold.::

Kama:  Its because I don't like you.  And you still haven't learned this yet.

::Kama lowers his center of body and flips Mack over to his back.::

Kama:  If you had that on me right I wouldn't have been able to do that.

::Mack gets up angry.   He charges at Kama.  Kama drops down, pulls the rope down, and Mack goes flying over the top.  Steve goes over and checks on Mack.::

Kama:  Boy you still have a lot to learn.  But its not going to help.  Your worthless and you have no heart for the game.  Look at you now, instead of getting up and finishing the match like a man you are lying out there.  Like I said before, WORTHLESS.

::Kama turn and starts to exit.  Mack pushes off Steve and rolls back into the ring.::

Mack:  Where do you think you are going.  I am not done with you yet.

Kama:  Then come and hit me.

::Mack goes to swing but Kama blocks it.  He tries the other way but Kama ducks it and swipes Macks legs out from him.::

Kama:  Like I said .  You cannot even hit me.

::Kama exits the ring.  And starts to walk back to the locker room.::

Mack:  Hey wait...

::Kama turns, only to see Mack spring boarding off the top rope and splashing onto Kama.  Both men lay there and get counted out.  Steve exits the ring and checks on them.::

Steve: You two okay.

Kama:  I am. You kid?

Mack:  Yeah.

::Steve shakes his head and goes back to the ring and gets the next match started.  Mack and Kama sit there and start to talk.::

Kama:  You surprised me kid.  Maybe there is something to you.

::Kama rubs Mack's head and stand up.  He sticks out his hand to help Mack up.  Mack takes it and Kama helps him up.  They walk to the back.

From that point on Scotty "Kamakazi" Harrison and Mack started a friendship, that last even today.  Scotty finished training Mack as much as he could.  Mack and Scotty turned into Steve's favorite and best teachers to new students.  On Mack's 15th birthday, July 22nd 1995, his grandparents died of natural causes.  Mack moved in with Kamakazi in a house two blocks from the gym.  Mack's skill continued to improve in the ring on Friday nights at Super Star Steve's Gym.  He fought along side of Kamakazi in may tag team match.  But didn't fight him again until later on in his career.  A few months past when Steve brought in the 19 year old, Parnell Wylkes.

::Mack walks over to Parnell and sticks out his hand.  Parnell looks at him and puts his bags in Mack's hand.  Parnell turns to Steve and Mack drops the bag in the floor.::

Parnell:  So where I stayin?

Mack:  At your house.

Parnell (with no regards to Mack):  What room is mine?

Steve:  You will be sleeping in the office.

Mack:  Hold up.  Who are you and what do you think you are doing?

Parnell:  I am the "Born Again Heel" and what I am doing is taking an easy road to a superstar.

Mack:  You think you can handle the challenges of being a wrestler?

Parnell:  Changing into a wrestler is Not a Thang.

::Parnell grabs his bags and walks past Mack bumping into him.  He heads into the office.::

Mack:  Steve why are you helping him out?  He is nothing but trouble, just look at him.

Steve:  You were the same way when you got here.  Now look at you.  Just give him some time and he will come around.  You have no idea what Fate has in store for you three.

Mack:  Three????

Steve:  Just wait and see.

If only Mack new the truth in that statement.  As the time went on, Mack started to train new rookies as they came in.  Months went by and Parnell's attitude didn't change at all.  The only thing that did change was he started to get a little skill.  On one Spring night about two years later; Mack, Scotty, Steve, and Parnell went out to eat.  Steve, Mack, and Scotty had been waiting for a while when Parnell finally showed up at the gym.

Mack:  How long does it take for you to get from the office to the front door?

Parnell:  I'm hungry.  Let's get something to eat.

Scotty:  I think Mack asked you a question.

Parnell:  Yeah so.....

::Scotty grabs Parnell by the throat and slams him against the wall.::

Steve:  Calm down you two.

::Scotty lowers his hand and Parnell fixes his shirt.::

Parnell:  Oh you under talented rookies.

::Mack is about to jump onto Parnell when Steve jumps in the way.  Mack backs off.::

Steve:  That's enough.

::They walk around the block to a local pizza joint.  They go to a table in the back corner.  They sit down and the waitress comes and takes there drink order and leaves.::

Steve:  You three have showed a lot of improvement over these last few months.

Parnell:  Thanks for noticing me.  I did it all on my own.

Mack:  Like hell you did.  You have been in training under me and Scotty for the past months.

Parnell:  But you guys teaching is like shi*t.  It was all by myself.

Scotty:  You are full of yourself.  An attitude like that is going to get you to the curve again, Back to rolling dice and rap offs.

::Parnell jumps up making his seat fall back.::

Parnell:  I don't need any of you.  I can do this own my own.

::Parnell starts to walk off.::

Steve (in a strict tone):  Sit back down.  NOW!!!

::Parnell walks back over, picks up his chair, and takes a seat.::

Steve:  You three better get use to working with each other.

Parnell:  And why is that?

Steve:  John D. Marrone Jr. gave me a call earlier this week.  He is looking for three rookies to come out of my gym, into his fed.  And I have chose you three.

Mack:  So why do we have to work with each other?

Steve:  Cause I am looking to get John back for what he did to me.  I am going to make him pay.

Scotty:  Still not following you here Steve.

Steve:  When I first saw you three together in the ring, sparing with each other, I knew Fate had brought you here.  There is something about the three of you that I cannot put my fingerer on.  You three are drawn to one another.  Just look at you, Scotty and Mack.  When you two first got here you were are each others throats.  Now you guys are unstoppable.  And you Parnell, its no chance that you came into the gym.  Fate brought you to Scotty and Mack.  I think that you three are destined to be together.

Parnell:  Nice speech there, but I am not working with them.

Scotty:  Dido to that.

Steve:  Before you throw it out think about it.  Parnell you and Mack are a like....I brought you in from a life of thieving and living off the streets.  When you three work along side each other there is a spark.  If you guys get off the high horse of it being all about you then you can see it.  Fate has brought you three together tonight to discusses its plain for you three.

::They all sit there in silence for a long time.  The waitress brings back the drinks and takes the order for the pizza.  Mack, Scotty, and Parnell keep thinking about what Steve had said.  Mack is sipping his drink and starts to shake his head.

Mack:  Steve you are right.  We are destined to be here.  This is not chance.  Fate has a greater plain for us then to go own by ourselves.

Scotty:  Your right.

::They all turn to Parnell::

Parnell:  Well I for one am not part of this.....I will no longer be by my self.  You can count me in.

Steve:  There is no longer three people, you are now one.  You will bring Warning to all about the Fate that has been made for themselves.

Mack/Scotty/Parnell:  Fates Warning!

Steve:  Fates Warning.....that's what you will be called.

That night the one of the most devastating stables was formed.  Fates Warning was born into the world.  The stable made its appearance in the Ultimate Wrestling Federation (UWF) under the leadership of Super Star Steve the following year, 1998, in February.  Scotty "Kamakazi" Harrison was the first one to make his appearance in the UWF in February 8th, 1998.  Mack was barely over the 18 year old limit to join the federation.   His first match was against the lightweight champion Scissor on February 22nd, 1998.  Mack got beat into a bloody pulp.  That night Parnell "Biohazard 'the born again heel'" Wylkes showed up.  Mack got his first ever professional win on February 27, 1998, at Can Games against Red Sun by pinfall.  Mack, Biohazard, and Kamakazi didn't form Fates Warning right away.  They wanted to hook and bait the federation first.  But the night finally came on March first.

*10.......9........8.......7.......6......5......4......*

"Whats this Scissor gots Kamakazi in a pin."

*3...2....1.  Ding Ding Ding*

"You winner of the 60 minute iron man match by three pins to none, The Scissor."

Kamakazi and The Scissor laid in the ring tired out and in a bloody mess.  The Scissor gets up and starts to pound down on Kamakazi with a stele chair.  Just then "Brain Stew" by Green Day comes on as Mack and Biohazard comes running down to the ring.

"My God, its Mack and Biohazard.  What are they doing down here?"

Mack and Biohazard enter the ring.  They jump on The Scissor and pumble him down.  The Scossor get free and slides under the ropes and gets out.  Mack and Bio help Kamakazi up to his feet.  They then reveal a undershirt that say Fates Warning in big bold red letters on a black t-shirt.

"Fates Warning???  What the heck!!!"

Just then Super Star Steve makes his way down to the ring.  He slides in the ring and grabs a mic.

Steve:  John...John...John....you should have never let me in this fed....I will make you pay for it.  These men behind me will bring about the downfall of this fed.  They will cause chaos and destruction.  The Fate of this federation has been set afoot.  Fates Warning is now in control.

From that night on, Fates Warning was the most underhanded and sneaky stables in the history of the UWF.  Each week they gained more members to there roster.  They quickly became the largest stable in the fed.  And they were constantly feuding between JDMR Jr's stable Zombies Unlimited.  On March 15th, 1998 during the pay-per-view, The Ides of March, one of the worlds most brutal  matches was introduced, the Gang WarFare match.  The match was between Fates Warning, Dorvaan - Nighthawk - Gargantuan - 'Lil Crazy - Kamakazi - Mack - The Mighty Grizz - The Chef - Biohazard - Chain Gang, against Zombies Unlimited, The Scissor - The Executioner - Strychnine - Cyanide - Frenzy - Captain Macchu Peru - Steven Pierce.  The rules were simmmple, the two stables would be locked in the cage until there was only one team standing.  This night Fates Warning came out on top.  They were the first ever UWF Gang WarFare champion.  And in the history of the UWF, they were in all five Gang WarFare matches and they only lost one time.  Mack continued to strive in the UWF and Fates Warning was still a force to be reckoned with.

Rookie to Champion

In June of 1999 Fates Warning took its most devastating blow.  Super Star Steve died from natural causes.  The loss of a mentor and a friend was hard to Mack.  The bond between Mack, Kamakazi, and Biohazard got stronger because of this event.  And Fates Warning continued to bloom.  Mack keep getting better and better.  But he still missed having Steve there for advice and guidance.

The rain of Fates Warning continued to grow.  They lost member, gained members, and even had a sister stable, Death Militia start from them.  Fates Warning went through 4 more Gang WarFares, they won three out of the four.  Mack continued to become more and more of a athletic superstar.  But with all good things, they come to an end.  Fates Warning started to split apart.  Biohazard retired and was not in the best speaking grounds with Kamakazi.  Kama left Fates Warning cause of his own going fight with the wicked Frenzy and the Lightweight Champion Scissor.  Mack was the only remaining member of Fate still in it.  And there was people all around him trying to shut it down.  Then things started to go down hill again.  A wrestler came up saying that he had the right of Fates Warning.  And a war broke out trying to figure out who was the controller of Fates Warning.  Then one night the lightweight Mack went against the Heavyweight wrestler Snake Zurlock....

FOR CONTROL OF FATES WARNING:
(4-5) Mack vs. Snake Zurlock (5-3)

Nobody's quite sure what Mack was thinking getting in the ring against a powerhouse of a heavyweight named Snake Zurlock. Perhaps it was pride in defense of his love for FATE that overtook his logical thinking. Mack was the first one into the ring, followed closely by a familiar female figure of the past named Sidney, who had returned to his side. Dressed in black and coming down through the audience to Great Malinco by ICP, Mack looked more confident than he has in months. Snake entered the Arenadome with Blizzard by his side, who was brandishing a softball bat in case anyone wanted to get involved. Nobody did, and nobody needed to. Mack was alone in this fight, and sad to say, he was outweighed and outmatched by Snake Zurlock, who obviously took this match to repair his bruised ego. It was a slaughter, and the crowd showed no appreciation for his tactics. Fans booed Snake for his overkill methods throughout the match, which lasted only five minutes - a barrage of powermoves that slung Mack's body all over the ring like a rag doll. Snake took the pinfall victory easily, and Mack fans (yes there are quite a few) as well as Sidney were horrified when after the needless conflict, Snake pointed to the announcer's table, and proceeded to powerbomb Mack's lightweight body onto the keyboards, microphones, and monitors. The blow jarred Mack's body, crushed equipment, but did not break the thick table. Snake Zurlock was declared the winner and the rightful controller of FATES WARNING from here on out, and Mack was helped from the table and to the back by paramedics and a saddened Sidney, all the while fans chanted Mack's name, and Snake was splattered with cokes as he returned to the locker room...
SNAKE ZURLOCK by pinfall

Then the rain of Fates Warning in the UWF was over.  When Snake got control he tore it apart.  There Mack was all by himself.  The trio of friends were broken apart.  Even though Mack and Kama was still on talking grounds.  But things went from bad to worse.  The next month Kamakazi had a match, that had his career on the line.

TIME OF THE MATCH: 26:15
ENDURANCE FACTORS:

Kamakazi: started (710) ended (-4638)
MATCH NOTES: So much was on the line in this match that the UWF executive committee tried to do everything they could to book this match, 'cause nobody wanted Kamakazi to leave the federation. He is an icon of UWF Lightweight wrestling. It is sad and ironic that Kamakazi let his UWF Lightweight career ride on a final Arena match against his career long rival Frenzy. This match was without a ring, and any spill could have spelled certain doom for either wrestler. Such was the case between these two superstar contenders. A back and forth battle from the start - both Frenzy and Kamakazi rode waves of destruction that brought the other man down. However this match differed from any other Arena match. This match meant a lot to both men - it was to settle the year long score, it was a chance to put an extreme hurt on the other... it had one man's career on the line. Thus, they fought beyond the capacities of normal wrestlers. Kamakazi took control early after a spinning kick locked Frenzy in the arena barbwire - Kama yanked him free, and Frenzy fell to the stone suffering a blow to the forehead. A blood knot grew to a lump on his head, and before the darkness of unconsciousness set in, Frenzy leapt forward like an absolute psycho, laughing, and clawing at Kamakazi's legs! Down the line of suffering, Frenzy managed a devastating nut shot that brought Kamakazi to his knees. Frenzy grabbed Kama by the hair, and headbutt him six or seven times in the nose, splattering it open, breaking its bones, leaving Kamakazi sucking on blood drenched air. During one point in the match, Frenzy was able to slip out of a headlock by Kamakazi due to his missing ear - another point during the match Kamakazi managed to wring a bar loose from the Arena cage frame and spike it into Frenzy's earhole with all his weight behind him! But not one single blow of viciousness would put out the other's lights. Referee Bob Callahan stayed back from the melee as they tarred each other apart. Statistically, they went blow for blow, equally delivering the assault to the other, until Frenzy got brain busted and subsequently DDT'd onto the stone floor! Kamakazi took a cover, and Bob Callahan went along and counted Frenzy for the three. Three times, Kamakazi took Frenzy off the floor and spiked him headfirst into the cement, followed by a moot three-count. Frenzy was in desperate trouble, barely clinging to consciousness, his face ballooned and busted worse than any encounter they'd ever had. But Frenzy wouldn't die and fall beyond the point of no return. He clung to the edge of what was left, and found his way over to the pipe Kamakazi had wrung off the cage earlier, left forgotten and stumbled upon in the corner. Kamakazi came in for what could have been the kill, and Frenzy blindly swung and hit Kamakazi in the side of his face, crushing his zeugmatic bone and jaw into splinters - for this was no WWF prop - no WCW rubber 2x4 - this was 100% real UWF Arena steel, and it nearly took Kamakazi's head apart. Frenzy bellowed like a madman fighting for his life in one last battle cry, and delivered three blows to Kamakazi's face - the last of which left him motionless. Frenzy fell atop his foe, barely moving, but moving just enough. Kama was checked several times for consciousness, and failed every time. Referee Bob Callahan panicked, called for the cage to be risen immediately, and paramedics swarmed in as an ambulance was backed into the Arenadome. Fans were nearly silent, their mouths agape, as Frenzy was announced the winner of the match, and Kamakazi was announced retired from the UWF. Frenzy was rolled unwillingly onto a stretcher in time and strapped to a board and moved out, but the concern was with Kamakazi, who barely looked himself after suffering the injury. Medical attendants moved frantically around Kamakazi, and as they were preparing to drive him away via ambulance, a chopper could be heard landing in the parking lot. He was to be emergency lifted to the nearest trauma center. During the stillness and concern, Dr. Undead found his way over to the microphone as footage in homage of Kamakazi was played over the monitors. He tested it for sound and then spoke on behalf of ZOMBIES UNLIMITED... "Ladies and gents - there goes the best thing that ever came out of FATES WARNING! In fact, that man was the heart and soul ofFATES WARNING as far as we're all concerned! Pricks in the back should be on your knees! Kamakazi had more fighting spirit that all of you other FATE schmucks put together!" Dr. Undead dropped the mic and the ring attendants went about preparing the ring for the next match.....

When Kama was well enough to come back to the ring he started to manage Mack.  Mack started to go up in rank and in the hearts of the fans.  Mack was the underdog of the UWF and the fans, that he did have, cheered him on.  Then the night finally came, Mack had the chance to win the UWF Lightweight Title.  This night he was all by himself.  He wanted to prove to the world that he could take on anyone and didn't need Fates Warning or Kamakazi to do it.    He was in an elimination match with the Champion Diabolus, former champion The Scissor, Deadbolt, Dark Eron, and Johm E. Homes.  Mack gave all he got.

MATCH NOTES: Fans and critics alike were shocked once more to see Mack not only recapture his UWF Lightweight Championship title, but also become the only person to have not one, but two victories over the legend destroyer, Diabolus. Diabolus once again fought a good fight, beating the UWF Lightweight Champion down and off his feet, and into a position of mercy, but Mack has found a fire and has kept it fueled since becoming champion - and refused to be doused when the match was at its worst. All this without outside interference - only Kamakazi's mentorship and managerial advice from ringside. Mack has taken the championship and held it, if not with grace, with pride and guts, and such attributes continue his reign of glory. Diabolus falls down the rankings, as the Lightweight division continues to be shaken up - amidst the fall of The Scissor, the mortalizing of Diabolus, and the misfortune of John E. Holmes. Still performing like a man blinded by the glimmer of the gold, Mack emerges from the IDES still the UWF Lightweight Champion - but a pack of hungry dogs, all feuding for the next shot, are lurking in the shadows, ready to pounce upon his first mistake...

Play by Play

But following this match, Mack and all of the UWF was out of a job.  JDMRJr went off and killed himself over his love left him.  With the death of John, the door of Mack's wrestling career was closed.  Mack went out to different independent feds, but none of them last longer then a month.  Mack was left to move around from place to place trying to find a new fed to call home.  Then he came to one fed that was like the rest.  Mack signed up with the IWF.  Before he was going to have his first match there, they closed the door.  But before Mack could move one of the Co-Owners came up to him and told him about a new federation they were going to start up, the World Wrestling Association.
