Macedonian, the official language of the Republic of Macedonia, is an Indo-European language from the family of Slavic languages belonging to the South-Slavic group. At the same time, it is a Balkan language.
Republic of MACEDONIA is situated in the central part
of the Balkan Peninsula, with an area of 25,713 square
kilometers bordering on Serbia & Montenegro to the north,
Greece to the south, Bulgaria to the east and Albania to the
west. In the Republic of Macedonia there live just over two
million people. The capital of the Republic of Macedonia is
Skopje.
