Living Room
The living room is the front room of the house, just to the side of the front porch, which you can see in the exterior photo. It has a large frong window facing the street that has a beautiful stained glass top. The small window on the second story is the master bedroom.
We painted this room Hemlock green. It has slate blue and red accents.
There is a fireplace, but it isn't wood burning. Evidently it was at one time but we have no plans to try to resurrect the chimney! The ceiling fan replaced the chandelier that was hanging there. Matt got it up there and it was quite a feat. We moved the chandelier into the dining room after Sara refinished it.
We recently purchased a new couch and large comfy chair, which you can see well in the photos. We have even made improvements to the room since these photos were taken. The crown moulding was added not too long ago. Overall, this is our most used and most complete room of the house.
