Matt and Sara met at our alma mater, Iowa State University in Ames, IA. Matt graduated in December of 1997, with a bachelor's degree in engineering; Sara in December of 1998 with a bachelor of science in journalism and mass communication. 
We are a happy family of four now. Avery is 4 and Charlie is 2.
Matt proposed in March of 1998 in the Catalina mountains of Arizona during Spring Break, and we were married July 17, 1999, in Sara's hometown, Spencer, IA. We now live in the Chicagoland area.
Matt works for Knowles Electronics as a Senior CAD Designer. The company makes hearing aid components and is transferring that technology into other electronics such as cell phones.
Sara worked for 5.5 years for Allured Publishing Corp., most recently as managing editor for GCI magazine, a business-to-business publication for the personal care and cosmetics industry. She stepped down from this career to be at home with our daughter. She is doing some freelancing writing and editing. She also now has a blog: saramason.wordpress.com
