Friday, November 7
Pre-Game Dinner: Chili's
North Lamar near 45th St
4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Game: House Park, 7:30 pm vs. Lanier (Homecoming)
We will not have an "official" block seating arrangement after all (something happened with that negotiation). Adult tickets are $6, students under 18 with ID are free, and students with no ID and children are $3. Debra will arrive at the home gate on the south side of the stadium between 6:30 and 6:45 pm. We will attempt to sit behind the Blue Brigade (someone in the know says we should have room there).
Post-Game Party: The Filling Station
Barton Springs Rd across from Palmer Auditorium
10:00 pm - 12:00 am or slightly longer
The party room has been reserved for us at no
extra charge - you only pay for what you
consume plus the tip.
Saturday, November 8
Day Event: Fuddrucker's
4024 S. Lamar (southbound side - on the right after
crossing the river but before Ben White/360)
We will be in the "sports room" (parents: that room has
video games inside).
1:00 pm - 5:00 pm - come and go as you wish.
No extra room charge - you pay for what you order.
Some snacks may be provided.
Evening Event: Chuy's
North Lamar location (between Rundberg and
Braker Ln)
9:00 pm - ? (kitchen closes at 11:00 pm)
Ask for the Mac Party if you're not with us when we
are seated. You may want to come in a group if
you're coming late (in case of seating overflow -
you might get bumped to a different table).
You pay for what you consume plus applicable tip.
(This has a late start because it seemed to be the
most reasonable arrangement without charging
the heck out of everybody for a room rental,
overpriced food, or both. Not to mention it's
darn near impossible to get reservations at a
reasonably priced Austin restaurant on a
Saturday night - many have a "no reservation"
policy - !)
Sunday, November 8
All "official" events are cancelled. However, if you want to join Debra for brunch before she goes back to Houston, you're welcome to ask her where she's going on Sunday during one of the Friday or Saturday events.
