MacCrac - This is a fairly old program, but still works [you can't expect much from Iceland]. The dictionary file is weak, so I would reccomend either salvaging the larger 2.4 megabyte dictionary file from Meltino below, or downloading Dic2000 and importing it directly to MacCrac.
Meltino - This is a pretty good UNIX password cracker. The GUI is also fairly attractive. The only real downside to Meltino is its speed, or lack thereof.
MC Authority - MC Authority is a fairly nice web pws cracker which houses the ability to utilize a proxy for self-protection. I would reccomend it.
Dic2000 - This is one huge bastard of a dictionary by Team2600. If you plan on downloading any of the cracking utilities on this site, I would definitely reccomend downloading Dic2000.
Forced Entry 2.0 - Forced Entry has got to be one of the greatests cracking applications I've seen in a while. It cannot only crack POP3 mail servers, but also FTP and Hotline servers! It has a very easy-to-use and logical GUI and works very quickly. All you need to download in addition is Dic2000 for a dictionary.
pas 1.0 - Pas analyzes pws files, sorting and translating various fields of the login to identify system administrators, shell type, shadowing method, shadow backups, and login count, as well as parsing the logins, allowing the user to browse through the pws file. It also strips partially shadowed pws files of shadowed logins, preparing it for use with a pws cracker.
