| FAIR GAMEPLAY Play the game as close to real life as possible. Everyone here knows how to play football. Please no going for it on 4th and 20 in the first quarter. No onside kicks in the first quarter. No hailmary plays 5 times in a row. No running the same play over and over and over again. Basically just mix it up, play fair, play for real. Don't be disrespectful to the other players. Nothings wrong with a little trash talking, but keep it as clean as possible. BASIC GAME SETUP All games will be played as ranked games, with all of the settings kept as the default. SCHEDULING - Every week will be from Friday to Thursday - You can schedule the game with the other coach in the scheduling section of the message board - For example: The first week will be from July 22 - July 28. You can play your game for that week anytime during that period. This makes it easier for everyone to get their games in and work around each others schedules. - If you know that you will be out of town for a week or more or if you will be unable to play for any reason, it's fine to play two games in one week or something if it is okay with your opponent. But, just try to stay to the one game a week as much as possible! It will get very confusing if people just start playing any game anytime. MISC. GAMEPLAY RULES - Do not onside kick everytime you kick off. If you do onside kick, you must do it from an onside kick formation - Do not use no-huddle before every play. Please only use it when it is necessary to save time (as in the end of the half or the game). - Please only go for it on 4th downs in realistic situations. For example don't go for it on 4th and 20 in the first half. And don't go for it on your own 20 or something. We all know how football is played, just use your best judgement. - Show sportsmanship. Don't run up the score. Don't keep passing it downfield when your up by 30. We all know what bad sportsmanship is. POSTGAME - After each game, both coaches go to the message board and enter the stats for your game. There is a different board for each week and a different thread for each game. Just go to the thread for your game and enter the stats. There is a thread on each week's board that has the stats that you should give in your post. Remember to write down your stats before you quit the game! COMPLAINTS - If you think that your opponent is cheating, pause the game and talk to him about it. If you still have complaints, send me an email at [email protected]m. - DO NOT QUIT THE GAME AT ANY TIME! If you think your oppenent is cheating, finish the game, then let me know MESSAGE BOARD - Everyone in the league needs to register for the message board (link at the top of the page). - When you create your screenname, just to make it easier, make your screenname the name of the team your playing with (ex.: OhioBobcats, BowlingGreenFalcons) If you have any other suggestions for rules or anything else for the league, please email me!
