Field Trips for Little Buckaroos

Round up the cowboys and cowgirls.  Hitch up your wagons and head out to Little Buckaroo Ranch in the Texas hill country near Austin.  Field trips for preschool and elementary age children include an introduction to the Little Buckaroo miniature horses and ponies.  Participants follow a ranch hand through routine barn chores and assist with feeding and grooming.  They learn to describe horse colors and markings.  Search for eggs in the hay barn.  Bring a sack lunch.  Then we'll roast marshmallows.
