I am not a professional genealogist, but I have been researching the Shuttleworth family surname for about 30 years as a hobbie and would like to share information and knowledge that I have learnt over the years.
The internet has opened up a whole lot of new doors for people that is researching and made it a easier task for finding and contacting people with the same interest.

Last September my wife and I made a trip over to England for a holiday
but also gave us a chance to catch up with family and to see where my grandfather was born and to visit the places that had family connections such as Gawthorpe hall, ( I was not not allowed to take photo's inside the hall which has a lot of Shuttleworth family history which was a shame after coming a long way from New Zealand).
