Abstraction Theatre Mission Statement

Our Mission:

To provide opportunities for local actors and authors;
To compensate local actors and authors for their hard work, talent, dedication, and vision;
To allow local high school and college students the opportunity to work with a performing arts organization, gaining hands-on experience in the artistic, technical, and practical aspects of theatre;
To produce and perform new and original works that will enrich our community, especially the educational community;
To offer students and the community new ways into Shakespeare and other classic drama and literature;
To bridge the gap between theatre as entertainment and theatre as education.
